Sexological Bodywork in Berlin-Friedrichshain

Sexological Bodywork supports you in exploring your sexuality in new and embodied ways. Unlike conversation-based sex counseling, the method focuses on the lived experience. Where words may fall short, your body brings you new clarity and freedom of action.

Our sexuality is always changing

There are moments in life when we feel ready for a new chapter. Sometimes we already sense what lies ahead and feel drawn toward our next steps. We look forward to what’s coming.

Sexuality, in particular, transforms continuously throughout our lives—often on its own. Each shift is an invitation to reconnect with our capacity for pleasure.

At other times, it’s discomfort or uncertainty that moves us. We may simply know that something needs to change. Maybe we struggle to enjoy our bodies or feel pleasure. Maybe it is difficult to let go of control and truly relax.

Perhaps we’ve become used to repetitive stimulation or pornography and now experience our desire as limited or dull. Maybe we’ve had painful experiences and find it difficult to feel safe and at home in our sensuality.

Navigating change in our sexuality can be challenging. Sexual encounters are complex, and we rarely take time to pause, feel, and understand what’s actually happening. We often want to be considerate with our partner’s needs.

So in sexual situations, it’s rarely just about ourselves and our personal growth. There’s little room for the unknown, the unfamiliar, the tentative—or for our full readiness, our drive forward that may even feel too much for others.

This is exactly where Sexological Bodywork can support you. The method accompanies your sexual development in a safe and held space tailored to your personal experience and your individual needs.

Questions and Answers

A typical Sexological Bodywork session lasts 2.5 hours. This gives us enough time to slow down and tune in.

  • We begin with an intake to clarify your learning intention and choose a fitting method.
  • We enter an explorative journey in the bodywork part of the session. Here you can explore, feel, sense and we will always stay in close communication, too.
  • We end with an outtake to reflect and integrate your experience.

According to your wish, the session may include touch-based methods (e.g. mapping, mindful massage, touch meditations) or non-touch methods (e.g. mindfulness exercises, witnessing, work with breath, voice, or movement).

Adults and couples of all genders and sexual orientations are warmly welcome in my practice.

I aim to provide a space where empowerment and self-determination with your sexual identity is unquestioned. And it is important to me that my sessions stay inclusive to people that have specific needs with physical or financial accessibility. Please visit the Sessions & Prices page for more information.

I work according to the Code of Ethics of the European Association of Sexological Bodywork (EASB). Key principles include:

  • Touch will only ever happen on your wish and request
  • Touch is always one-way: I touch you, in service to you
  • I remain clothed throughout the session
  • We stay in continuous communication about your experience and next steps

You’ll find a detailed overview of the ethics and responsibilities of my work—as well as a contact point for potential complaints—on my Ethics page.

Sexological Bodywork was developed in the 1980s in California during the HIV crisis, in response to the need for safe, conscious ways to express and experience sexual pleasure as a human need. It began with an exploration of physical pleasure and ecstatic states.

Over the years, the method has evolved. Today, it places strong emphasis on consent, trauma awareness, and the effects of the nervous system on our body. At its core, the approach has always aimed to empower clients in their sexuality.

Currently, seven institutes worldwide are recognized by the Association of Certified Sexological Bodyworkers (ACSB) as official training providers.
